The Sound of 756 – Video of Barry Bonds Breaking the Home Run Record

While the question, “if a tree falls in a forest, and nobody is there to hear it, does it make a sound?” remains unanswered, we now definitively KNOW what 43,154 screaming fans sounded like when Barry Bonds slugged his 756th home run:

Bet there’s a lot of folks with sore throats in San Francisco today! If you were in town for the game, consider sticking around till Sunday for your own chance to cross home plate at AT&T Park.Although you may not have splurged for tickets to the last Giants game, you can grab a beer and ballpark frank and catch the Oakland A’s versus the White Sox at the McAfee Coliseum. Delve into baseball history at an exhibition on the Pacific League, or hear why some players are remembered as heroes while others are scapegoats.Or maybe you’ve had enough to do with baseball, baseball parks, hearing about anyone named Barry…try something different this weekend, BBQ! The Guardsmen host their inaugural Barbecue Festival this Saturday at Justin Herman Plaza. All proceeds support programs for disadvantaged Bay Area youth. Walk across the street and pick up some fresh flowers and tasty fruits and veggies at the Ferry Plaza Farmers’ Market.

I am so angry that “Bonds” is taking away Hank Aarons record away from him when there was no steroid use at that time. Aaron earned his record, Bonds, well, that is another story. This counrty needs to put their prioritits in order. What kind of society do we have that we allow something like this to happen? The media has reinforced what he has done. Where is the stopping point? We have minors trapped in a mine, and the headlines are about this drug using record breaking jerk? I am so angry that I cannot write with a sane mind and all “AMERICANS” should feel as I do!
